The reporting

A neutral summary of the key facts most outlets agree on, drawn from reporting across the political spectrum.

Amazon plans to expand its Prime Air drone delivery service to nearly 500 U.S. cities and towns by the end of 2026, about six times its current footprint. The rollout would add service in Illinois, Georgia, Ohio, Idaho and New York, on top of existing locations in Arizona, Florida, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Nebraska and Texas. Amazon says eligible customers will be able to receive small packages, including groceries, medication and household items, in as fast as 30 minutes. The company has set a target of 1 million drone deliveries this year.
