Vincent Pastore, the actor best known for playing Salvatore “Big Pussy” Bonpensiero on HBO’s “The Sopranos,” was found dead Saturday at his home in the Bronx; he was 80. Friends or a neighbor found him after he had not been heard from for several days, and authorities reported no indication of criminality. A cause of death was not released and was being determined. Pastore built a career playing mobsters and tough guys, including Tony Soprano’s close friend turned FBI informant.
