Glover Reveals Alzheimer’s

Danny Glover, the 79-year-old actor and activist best known for the “Lethal Weapon” franchise, has revealed that he has Alzheimer’s disease. Glover told NBC’s “Today” and People that he was diagnosed not long after receiving an honorary Oscar in 2022 and has been living with the progressive disease for several years. He said the illness has affected his movement, speech and memory, while acknowledging that he is “still not accepting” every part of the diagnosis. Glover said he can live with it for now but expects changes as the disease advances, and his family has publicly supported him as he continues to appear at events near his San Francisco home.
