Federal authorities charged two additional men in an alleged plot to attack the June 14 White House UFC Freedom 250 event, bringing the number of publicly identified defendants to at least seven. Prosecutors identified the new suspects as William Lee “Spartacus” Falkner of Washington state and Jordan W. Rincker of St. Joseph, Missouri, and accused them of joining a conspiracy that allegedly planned to use drones and firearms to target the event, assassinate officials and create mass casualties. Court records say law enforcement disrupted the plot before the event, and one suspect allegedly described the goal as causing enough chaos to help “bring about the overthrow of the US government.” The new complaints also describe the alleged preparation behind the attack plan, including one man telling officers he felt he had “armed a terrorist.”
