Kentucky Sen. Mitch McConnell has spoken by phone with Senate Majority Leader John Thune and other Republican leaders while remaining hospitalized more than three weeks after his June 14 admission. His staff says he is continuing his recovery, but has not disclosed his diagnosis, condition, whether he is conscious, or whether he will return when the Senate reconvenes. EMS dispatch audio from his Capitol Hill home described an unconscious person receiving CPR for cardiac arrest.
