The reporting

A neutral summary of the key facts most outlets agree on, drawn from reporting across the political spectrum.

Darline Graham Nordone, the younger sister of late Sen. Lindsey Graham, was sworn in Tuesday as South Carolina’s interim U.S. senator after Gov. Henry McMaster appointed her Monday to fill his seat. Tim Scott said Nordone should consider running in the special GOP primary to become Graham’s permanent successor.
