Rep. Nancy Mace declined to run for the U.S. Senate seat left open by Lindsey Graham’s death, narrowing the Republican field before the filing deadline. Interim Sen. Darline Graham Nordone, Graham’s sister, is seeking a full term with President Donald Trump’s endorsement, while Reps. Ralph Norman and Russell Fry are also running in the August 11 primary. Lindsey Graham died July 11 at 71 after preliminary findings cited an aortic dissection. Memorial services are scheduled for July 28 in Washington and July 29 in South Carolina.
