Rep. Marcy Kaptur, D-Ohio, was hospitalized Sunday morning with non-life-threatening injuries after a hit-and-run crash in Toledo. Kaptur, 80, was a passenger traveling to a church service when the vehicle she was in was struck near Detroit Avenue and Central Avenue shortly before 11 a.m. Two people, including Kaptur and her driver, were taken to a hospital. Toledo police classified the incident as a hit-skip crash and were working to identify the driver who fled.
