Military Spouse Commission

President Donald Trump signed an executive order Monday creating the President’s Military Spouse Commission, a White House panel to advise him on policies affecting servicemembers’ spouses and families. Jennifer Hegseth, wife of Pete Hegseth, will chair the commission, which includes military spouses and is intended to channel family concerns directly to the White House. The panel will develop recommendations on spouse employment, childcare, housing, healthcare, education and other quality-of-life issues. The administration framed the commission’s work as part of a broader military readiness effort.
