President Donald Trump announced Wednesday that White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt will leave her role at the end of August, less than a month after returning from maternity leave. Leavitt, 28, the youngest person to hold the post, said she made the decision to spend more time with her two young children. She gave birth to her daughter in May and returned to the White House in July. Trump said Leavitt will continue working with him as a top outside adviser; no replacement has been named.
