Minnesota House Speaker Lisa Demuth won the Republican primary for governor, defeating Trump-endorsed MyPillow founder Mike Lindell 43.4% to 32.5% with 99% of ballots counted. Democratic Sen. Amy Klobuchar won her party’s gubernatorial primary with 89.7% of the vote, setting up a Nov. 3 general election against Demuth. Lindell refused to concede after the race was called, saying he wanted vote totals checked for irregularities. The result means Minnesota will elect its first female governor.
