The reporting
U.S. District Judge Richard G. Stearns in Boston dismissed the Trump administration’s Title VI lawsuit against Harvard University on Thursday, rejecting a Justice Department case alleging the school failed to protect Jewish and Israeli students from harassment. Stearns ruled the complaint did not plausibly show an ongoing violation of federal civil rights law and said the cited incidents were too isolated and episodic. The lawsuit, filed in March, accused Harvard of turning a blind eye to antisemitism on campus after the 2023-24 protest period. The ruling grants Harvard’s motion to dismiss.
