President Donald Trump used a Labor Day Truth Social post to predict Republicans would “win big” in the November midterm elections and addressed Democrats as “Radical Left Lunatics, Communists, and Dumocrats.” The midterms are entering their final stretch with control of Congress at stake and 57 days remaining until Election Day, as the first mail-in ballots begin going to voters. Trump also disputed a Center for American Progress report that found his National Guard deployments did not reduce crime, saying he may sue.
