The reporting
Former U.S. Sen. John E. Sununu won New Hampshire’s Republican Senate primary Tuesday with more than 69% of the vote, defeating former Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown. Sununu will face Democratic Rep. Chris Pappas for the open seat held by retiring Democratic Sen. Jeanne Shaheen. In New Hampshire’s 1st Congressional District, Stefany Shaheen, Jeanne Shaheen’s daughter, narrowly won the Democratic primary to replace Pappas. Shaheen will run against Republican businessman Anthony DiLorenzo, who won the GOP nomination for the House seat.
