Jon Husted Fires Aide

Sen. Jon Husted’s reelection campaign parted ways with political director Stephen Woytek, 25, after questions emerged about his public social media history. Woytek, hired in August, had once used a Facebook profile photo showing Nazi SS soldiers holding captured Soviet banners. His public activity also included recent additions to a Spotify playlist featuring songs about Rhodesia, the former White-minority-ruled country. The staffing change comes as Husted, an Ohio Republican, campaigns for a Senate race against former Democratic Sen. Sherrod Brown.
