Thomas Massie Forces Impeachment Vote

Rep. Thomas Massie, a Kentucky Republican, introduced a privileged House resolution Tuesday to impeach Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth for “high crimes and misdemeanors,” forcing House action within two legislative days unless GOP leaders table or defeat it. He read eight articles aloud for more than an hour. Massie says Hegseth violated war-powers law in Iran for more than 90 days without Congress; the Trump administration says a pause or ceasefire reset the clock. The Pentagon said it is unified behind Hegseth.
