Celebrities Arrested At Netanyahu Protest

Hundreds of anti-Netanyahu protesters blocked traffic outside the United Nations in New York before Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the General Assembly. Police detained or arrested about 100 people. The protest was organized by Jewish Voice for Peace and allied groups, including DSA-linked activists, amid growing international criticism of Israel’s conduct in Gaza and the West Bank.
