Overview
On January 15, 2025, SpaceX launched two lunar landers, Firefly Aerospace's Blue Ghost and ispace's Resilience, from Kennedy Space Center. Blue Ghost is en route to Mare Crisium, carrying 10 NASA scientific instruments for lunar surface analysis and is expected to land on March 2, while Resilience, targeting Mare Frigoris, is anticipated to land in June. These missions support NASA's Artemis program, aiming for human return to the Moon, with Blue Ghost providing critical data on lunar terrain to inform future crewed missions. Both missions mark a significant step in commercial lunar exploration.
