Summary

A neutral summary of the key facts most outlets agree on, drawn from reporting across the political spectrum.

Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback and CBS NFL analyst Tony Romo was arrested in Milwaukee on Thursday on suspicion of operating a vehicle while under the influence. Milwaukee County Sheriff’s records say Romo, 46, was stopped at about 6:18 p.m. CT while driving southbound on Interstate 43 over the Hoan Bridge. He performed poorly on standardized field sobriety tests, then was taken into custody and booked on one suspected OWI count. He is due in court in September.
