Enes Kanter Freedom and Royce White, both former NBA players, said they plan to enter the 2027 WNBA Draft, testing the league’s rules around transgender athlete eligibility. Freedom, 34, a 6-foot-10 former No. 3 NBA draft pick who played 11 seasons, said he was declaring after reviewing WNBA eligibility guidelines.
