What happened
Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels dislocated his left elbow late in Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys and was carted off the field. Commanders coach Dan Quinn said imaging showed a dislocation but no fracture. Daniels is expected to miss time after suffering the same injury less than a year after it sidelined him for part of last season. The injury came on the final play of the first half at the Dallas 1-yard line, when Daniels braced a fall with his left arm. Washington turned to backup Marcus Mariota, who later threw a touchdown to Stefon Diggs. Dallas won 37-20. More testing comes next.
