What happened

Kansas City is interested in reuniting with free-agent wide receiver Tyreek Hill and has contacted his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, about his availability. The interest follows injuries in a 30-27 win over the Raiders, when receiver Rashee Rice hurt his hamstring and receiver Tyquan Thornton dislocated an ankle. Hill is recovering from a serious knee injury sustained with Miami last season, and Rosenhaus has said he could be ready in November. Hill won Super Bowl LIV with Kansas City before a 2022 trade to Miami. The bye week gives Rice time. Thornton is expected to miss 12 to 16 weeks after surgery, while Rosenhaus expects Hill could sign within days.
