Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, have welcomed their second child, Athena Elizabeth Rose, born January 22, 2025, weighing 4 pounds 5 ounces. Buckingham Palace confirmed the baby was born prematurely but both mother and daughter are healthy. Beatrice’s uncle, King Charles III, and the royal family expressed their delight at the news. The couple, married in July 2020, also has a 3-year-old daughter, Sienna, and 8-year-old Christopher Woolf from Mozzi's previous relationship. Athena, named partly in homage to the late Queen Elizabeth, is 11th in line to the throne.
