Igloo is recalling over 1 million 90 Qt. Flip & Tow Rolling Coolers in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, following reports of 12 injuries including fingertip amputations. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission flagged the tow handle design, which poses a pinching hazard. Approximately 1.06 million coolers were sold in the U.S., alongside 47,000 in Canada and 23,000 in Mexico, at prices ranging from $80 to $140 from 2019 to January 2025. Igloo advises consumers to cease use and offers free replacement handles. They emphasize safety as a priority and encourage registrations for the recall online.
