Hormuz Strikes Continue

U.S. forces launched a seventh consecutive night of strikes on Iran, expanding attacks around the Strait of Hormuz to bridges in Hormozgan province, energy facilities and the Chah Bahar Shahid Kalantari Port surveillance tower. Iranian officials said at least seven people were killed, while U.S. Central Command said the campaign was degrading military capabilities and targeting systems used to track commercial vessels. Iran said it struck the U.S. al-Tanf base in Syria, and Iranian strikes damaged a Kuwaiti power and water desalination plant. Negotiations under a 60-day June 17 framework continued through back channels.
