Toronto police are investigating after a gunshot was fired outside the U.S. Consulate early Monday, the second shooting at or near the diplomatic building this year. An officer stationed outside heard a single shot, found a shell casing, and police said the building’s facade was damaged but no injuries were reported. Police said a white sedan without a licence plate fled the scene, prompting a high-speed pursuit that lasted about an hour and ended without an arrest.
