A Cessna Caravan C-208 sightseeing plane crashed near Nazca in southern Peru on Saturday, killing all 13 people aboard. The aircraft was carrying 11 tourists and two pilots on a flight to view the Nazca Lines, the UNESCO-recognized archaeological site. The passengers were seven Italians, two Spaniards and two Germans. Local authorities said the plane went down in Pueblo Viejo, about 4 miles (6 kilometers) from Nazca and roughly 12 kilometers from the Nazca Lines site.
