The reporting
Russia’s latest missile and drone barrage on Kyiv and the surrounding region killed at least 17 people and wounded 44, with eight killed at the Kvitneva railway station. Ukraine struck two Russian oil refineries hundreds of miles from its border, hitting Bashneft-Novoil in Bashkortostan and Slavneft-Yanos in the Yaroslavl region, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said. Kyiv said the refinery attacks aimed to cut oil revenues Moscow uses to finance the war, while other Ukrainian strikes hit Russian Black Sea vessels and Wildberries warehouses. Zelenskyy asked NATO chief Mark Rutte for more air-defense interceptors after no Russian missiles were intercepted.
