The reporting
Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthis launched renewed missile and drone attacks on the government-held Red Sea port city of al-Makha, killing at least seven people and striking its commercial port. The barrage came less than 24 hours after an earlier attack on al-Makha, extending assaults on Saudi-backed Yemeni forces along Yemen’s western coast. The Houthis also claimed a drone attack on Saudi Aramco’s Jazan refinery in southwestern Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia’s energy ministry said firefighters extinguished a fire at the refinery and reported no injuries while authorities investigated the incident.
