Luigi Mangione, 28, pleaded guilty in Manhattan federal court to federal stalking charges in the 2024 killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, admitting, “I shot Mr. Thompson in Manhattan and he died.” He said he posed as a potential investor to find the location of UnitedHealthcare’s Dec. 4, 2024, investor conference, where Thompson was scheduled to speak.
