The reporting
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said Iran’s war with the United States should end because “the entire world approved our victory and the U.S. is hated,” according to Iran’s IRNA news agency. Iranian officials cite Tehran’s continued control of the Strait of Hormuz, effectively closed since the U.S. and Israel launched the conflict nearly six months ago, as proof of victory. The Trump administration is preparing additional economic sanctions on Tehran, with details expected Monday. Iran state media said Tehran will allow Iraqi oil tankers to transit the strait.
