The reporting
The State Department is preparing to revoke B1/B2 business and tourism visas for up to 200,000 foreigners who have applied for or are seeking asylum in the United States. The plan targets people who entered on short-term visas and then filed asylum claims to remain permanently. Unless revised or blocked, the department is expected to announce the revocations in the coming weeks in coordination with the Department of Homeland Security. The action would be the largest single mass visa revocation in U.S. history.
