The reporting

A neutral summary of the key facts most sources agree on, drawn from reporting across the political spectrum.

An anonymous federal official told Congress that USPS is preparing a new mail-ballot verification portal for the November midterms that the whistleblower says is untested and could delay or block ballots for millions of voters. The system, developed after President Donald Trump’s March executive order, would let states upload voter lists so USPS can verify ballot mail before delivery. The disclosure, released by Sen. Richard Blumenthal, says work began in June and continued despite court rulings blocking parts of the order. Blumenthal is seeking USPS records and answers.

Mail-vote sabotageMostly Left

Trump and his administration are using the Postal Service to restrict or disrupt mail-in voting ahead of the midterms. The plan is secretive, rushed, and potentially unlawful, and it could create chaos, disqualify large numbers of ballots, disenfranchise voters, and undermine or steal the election.
