The reporting
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg on Monday published a 6,500-word essay, “The Future is for Everyone,” arguing that superintelligent AI should be broadly distributed as personal assistants rather than controlled by a few companies, governments or institutions. He tied the vision to Meta’s open-source strategy as the company released a new AI model for developers. Meta also announced a $1 billion Future Is For Everyone Fund for communities that host its AI data centers and urged lower barriers for U.S. open-source AI developers in competition with China.
