The reporting

A neutral summary of the key facts most sources agree on, drawn from reporting across the political spectrum.

Authorities in Nepal warned residents in flood-hit districts to remain on high alert on Sunday after water levels rose in the Bhotekoshi River, as the confirmed death toll from the Nepal-Tibet floods passed 800. The flooding began on Wednesday after a glacier collapse in the Himalayas sent ice, rock, mud and water through valleys along the Nepal-China border. More than 3,000 people remain missing, including foreign travelers, while rescuers are trying to reach hydropower tunnels where hundreds of workers may be trapped. Nepal is also clearing a key highway linking Kathmandu to badly hit areas.
