Lindsay Clancy’s attorney, Kevin Reddington, filed a renewed motion Thursday asking Judge William Sullivan to find her not guilty by reason of insanity after her triple-murder trial ended in a mistrial. Reddington said prosecutors failed to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Clancy, who admitted strangling her three children in 2023, was criminally responsible. The jury deliberated seven days and deadlocked 11-1, with most jurors favoring a lack-of-criminal-responsibility finding. Juror Nick Dargie said the lone holdout reenacted the killings with an exercise band and a water bottle.
