Juror Paula Devlin said Friday that the lone holdout in Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial was a Black man and the only Black member of the 12-person jury. Devlin told Gayle King the panel had nine women and three men, and that 11 jurors favored finding Clancy not criminally responsible for strangling her three children. The deadlock produced a mistrial after the holdout refused to join the majority. King’s on-air reaction to the holdout’s race drew renewed attention to the case.
