Lindsay ClancyAmerican murderer (born 1990)’s Massachusetts murder trial said the panel deadlocked 11-1 before the judge declared a mistrial, with the majority prepared not to convict her in the 2023 deaths of her three children. Three female jurors, including the foreperson, said the lone holdout would not move from a vote to convict. Juror Nick Dargie separately said the holdout did not cite a “single piece of evidence” to explain his position. Clancy’s defense centered on insanity, while prosecutors charged her with first-degree murder.
