Gov. Beshear Says Mitch McConnell Silent

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear said on Face the Nation that Sen. Mitch McConnell has not responded to formal requests for health updates after being hospitalized following a June 14 fall in Washington. McConnell, 84, has not appeared publicly in roughly two months, and his team has released only two still photos and limited statements about his condition. Beshear said McConnell has also declined to record a short video showing his condition, arguing that Kentucky constituents deserve clarity on his ability to serve.
