The reporting

A neutral summary of the key facts most sources agree on, drawn from reporting across the political spectrum.

President Donald Trump appeared with noticeably darker, brunette hair after landing in New Jersey on Sept. 4 en route to Trump National Golf Club Bedminster, a departure from his familiar blond style. Photos showed his hair tousled by wind and his usual side part appearing reversed as he descended from Air Force One. The images prompted widespread social media speculation over whether the change was dye, a hairpiece or styling. Trump later played golf at Bedminster with Fox News anchor Bret Baier.
