The reporting
Taco Bell will stop using a Taylor Farms lettuce supplier after federal health officials identified shredded iceberg lettuce from Mexico served at its restaurants in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and West Virginia as a source of the cyclosporiasis outbreak. Customers have filed federal lawsuits in at least two states alleging they became ill from contaminated lettuce. Taylor Farms recalled iceberg lettuce products sourced from central Mexico and shipped to 27 states, and Walmart removed affected Marketside products from select stores. The outbreak has more than 1,600 confirmed cases in 34 states, with no deaths reported.
